Camplight go to festivals at the end to clean up. They take the 1 in 4 tents abandoned at festivals in the UK and keep the ones that can be salvaged. They are steam cleaned, then pitched and rented out at the following year's Glastonbury, Boomtown Fair, Boardmasters, etc.
So instead of hauling all your camping kit for miles from car park to campsite you can arrive and waft into a pre-pitched tent for just £30 pp per night. It's absolute genius. I realised my laziness was an opportunity...
WHAT WE DID
You see I'd completely missed the most important thing that drives Camplight: They're doing it for the environment. They're doing their bit to make a difference. Camplight social media reflected those beliefs.
But what they weren't talking about was their other core value, to make people's lives easier. So we decided that Camplight social media should talk about both benefits. And that it should be fun.
